This revitalization plan reestablishes the public image of a group of industrial buildings and reinforces downtown Buffalo’s evolving identity as cultural, and cosmopolitan urban center.  60 Grider Street offers mixed use housing, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and office spaces in an ideal central location for American and Canadian markets.  The building also seeks to improve both pedestrian and automotive traffic flow. Phase I involves demolition, window replacement, site work and installation of commercial laundry.

Renovations include a new façade of metal panel and channel glass, multiple tenant entries, additional truck docks, and increased office space.  Architecturally, 60 Grider presents a clean and new identity of light industry.  Furthermore, the façade’s inclusion of channel glass affords both the occupants increased day lighting as well as adding a theatrical and handsome contribution to pedestrians due to its transparent quality.
